The set features a cream-colored glaze decorated with a repeating blue and gold laurel herringbone border pattern. The domed lid is surmounted by a sculpted floral finial in blue and gold and contains a notch for a ladle. The underside of the underplate is marked with a hand-painted blue number 855 and bears a Rubin Collection 2016 collector sticker.
