A collection of two individual pieces of 19th-century Wedgwood's Stone China tureens and underplates. The set comprises of two tureens with lids and matching underplates. The stoneware is decorated in the Japan pattern featuring dense floral and foliate motifs in deep cobalt blue, iron red/orange, and green. The decoration is highlighted by extensive orange and gold gilt scrolling borders. The underside of one platter bears a clear blue printed mark reading WEDGWOOD'S STONE CHINA. Provenance labels N&R Jacobs, Skinner and Rubin Collection.
