Absolutely had to seek out more of these exceptional Romanian Folkware plates for you all. We love them for creating a comfortable but artistic table scape, or ideal for a plate wall gallery. Hanging hardware not included.

These colorful ceramics from Botoșani expresses the history, life, folklore, traditional customs and surrounding flora and fauna of the region. The decor is carved into the dried into the engobe glaze with the help of the “sgrafitto” technique. This set of 2 features 2 x bird lovers. The green color symbolizes the forest, yellow the sun, brown the mother earth and white stands for purity.

Handmade on a wheel & hand painted with natural colors.Pieces are entirely handmade and as such may have slight imperfections - we believe this adds to the charm of the collection. Underside of plate is unglazed. 

Handwash only, not dishwasher or microwave safe.
